Every roadside tree in the capital should be cut down to reduce personal injury claims. That’s the view of Dublin City Council Chief Executive, Owen Keegan, who said tree species planted last century were “totally inappropriate for the current liability environment” as their roots damaged pavements, causing trip hazards.

We were joined by Eanna Ni Lamhna is a Wildlife Expert and Vice President of the Tree Council of Ireland to discuss this further.
