One issue that recurs every few years in Cork is flooding.
The city is one of the worst affected areas in the country when there is severe weather.
Work is set to begin on a new tidal defence scheme to help reduce the impact floods can have on the city.
Newstalk reporter Josh Crosbie has been speaking with locals who support the plans and also those who are against it.
