Worries are being raised about the protection of the Irish Language laws within the Gaeltacht region in Kerry. Numbers show that there have been no investigations of breaches to Irish Language law’s requirements by Kerry County councils since it was passed 12 years ago.  

Dingle-based Sinn Fein, Councillor Robert Brosnan is calling for the laws to be more heavily enforced by the council.
