CAO offers for thousands of students will be out later today. The Irish Times is reporting that despite the 5,000 additional course places this year, there’s been a 7% increase in points across the board – with 78% of students receiving an offer from one of their top three choices. Concerns are being raised however at one private Dublin school where almost every student had a grade reduced in this year’s exams. The Institute of Education on Leeson Street, saw grades reduced for 96% of students. The school’s principal, Yvonne O’Toole and she joined us this morning.
