Do you have difficulty spelling words like ‘accommodate’, ‘millennium’, ‘committee’? You’re not alone...  Research has found that English-speaking children can take twice as long to learn to read and write because the spellings are so variable... Should English spelling be simplified? For reaction we are joined by  Stephen Linstead, Former Chair of The English Spelling Society.
