600,000 people have been affected by a boil water notice put in place yesterday evening. The notice covers areas of north Dublin, Kildare and Meath and may remain in place for a number of days.

Shane Coleman  spoke to Eamon Gallon, General Manager of Irish Water, about the issue. We then heard from Newstalk reporter Kacey O'Riordan, who took a sampling of the reaction from those affected, before Kieran Cuddihy interviewed Pavel from Supervalu Donabate to get a sense of how retailers are coping with the increase in demand for drinking water.
