Only just over half of our rivers and lakes are of good or high biological quality. That’s according to the latest Water Quality Report from the EPA which also says urgent action needed to curb nitrogen pollution in Ireland’s waters. Mary Gurrie is the EPA’s programme manager and she gave a reaction to the findings of the report.
