Alcohol consumption has declined from pre-COVID levels

According to the latest provisional Revenue data, alcohol consumption is down on pre-Covid levels, as Ireland moves closer to European consumption norms. Long-term trends continue to see a decline in consumption as it has decreased by 30% since its peak in 2001. Speaking to Ciara this morning was Paula Leonard, CEO of Alcohol Forum Ireland.
