A new bill has been submitted to the Dail that would establish a 40% quota for female representation on company boards. Fine Gael TD Emer Higgins who is bringing forward the bill says it will address the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles and have a positive outcome for businesses and she spoke to us this morning.
