85 new cases of Covid 19 were confirmed yesterday by the Department of Health, the highest number since May 22nd.  39% of the cases are associated with close contacts of a confirmed case. Half are associated with Covid-19 outbreaks while a significant number of cases are associated with a meat factory in Naas, Kildare. Jack Lambert, Professor in Infectious Diseases at the Mater, Rotunda and UCD school of Medicine discuss these figures.
