Today, we are looking at the introduction of water charges and the political and social upheaval that it caused.
Henry McKean looks back through the archives when Irish Water was established in 2014 and the public backlash towards water charges. Henry also tours the construction of a new reservoir in Stillorgan as we attempt to modinise our Victorian water infrastructure. The report starts with the infamous Jobstown protest in 2014 when Joan Burton's car was surrounded by protestors.
