It has been a somewhat disappointing World Athletics Indoor Championships for team Ireland.

New Zealand a country of similar size, population and sporting culture came away third overall on the Medal Table

So what constitutes success for Ireland in the biggest sporting events? And are we too quick to come to conclusions regarding our own success?
