The HSE has confirmed that the HPV vaccine uptake is at 70%, with seven in ten girls now receiving the vaccine - an increase of 20% in two years. This comes after the uptake of the vaccine dipped to just 50 per cent at one point due to a campaign of opposition by parents’ groups several years ago. Dr Phil Kieran joins Ciara to discuss.
