Government will tonight consider legislation which could see on-the-spot fines of €500 for breaches of Covid restrictions;  

People who throw house parties could be fined €1,000 or face a month in prison or both. 

What do you think about fining people for not adhering to guidelines?  Would it help to stop people breaking the rules?  Or, is it infringing on our rights?
