Today marks a whole year since the Government requested the closure of pubs.

Originally, they were meant to be closed for just two weeks, but many have not reopened since.

Vintners representatives say they are expecting many of Ireland’s 7,100 pubs to remain shut once restrictions are eased.

Daniel Smith is on the line from Grogan’s Bar in South William Street, Joe Sheridan is the owner of Walsh’s Bar in Dunmore, Co Galway and Ger Hough, Owner of Hough's Pub in Bangher Co Offaly - they spoke to Andrea.
