If you think of tourist attractions in Ireland – where do you think of? The Guinness Storehouse? The Cliffs Of Moher? The Giant's Causeway? But what if you’d like to go off the beaten track, and possibly avoid the hordes of tourists? The travel experts at Lonely Planet have teamed up with Fáilte Ireland to come with an alternative bucket list for those who want to travel the country to find some undiscovered gems. These include Fourknocks in Meath - similar to Newgrange, except it has a larger main chamber than that ancient monument and is a little more difficult to find. There’s also Ireland's only cable car, which connects the mainland to Dursey Island, one of the only uninhabited islands on the southwest coast of the country. Where are your favorite lesser known tourist attractions?
