A new approach is being taken by Gardai to help combat an emerging attack culture in Ireland. High visibility Gardai patrols are being deployed to particular ‘assault hot spots’ throughout the country.

Our reporter Julia Tereno was out and about on the streets of Dublin asking people if they have ever witnessed violence on the streets.
