Does free will exist? A pretty big philosophical question, but also a pretty big one for the neurobiologists whose work revolves around unlocking the secrets of the mind.

One of the neurobiologist leading the exploration of the mind is Robert Sapolsky, professor of biology, neurology and neurological sciences at Stanford University and author of Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst. He joined Jonathan to discuss whether we have the power to make decisions based on on free will or if it all comes down to biological factors.
