Cities are designed by people and for people, but many animals join us in our urban habitats too and so inevitably these environments affect those species, how they live, eat and breed.

So, knowing what we know about evolution, what sort of changes will our man-made environments force upon the animals of our world?

Dr. Rob Dunn, Professor of Applied Ecology at North Carolina State University and author of ‘A Natural History of the Future: What the Laws of Biology Tell Us about the Destiny of the Human Species’ joined Jonathan to discuss.
