Frank McDonald is the former Environmental Editor of the Irish Times who over the years has often bemoaned the state of places like Temple Bar with what he saw as poor planning and an over reliance on 'paddywhackery'.

Now of course all has changed and Temple Bar has gone very quiet but what might the future hold for Temple Bar and indeed Dublin’s City Centre in this new post-Covid world?
