Should the land on golf courses instead be used to tackle the housing crisis?  Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have been advised by the Chief Executive to support the redesignation of golf lands for future housing.  

This has however been met with pushback in the region, with some seeing the facilities as crucial to the community. To discuss this Claire spoke to Larry Roe, of Stepaside Golf Centre  and Director of Irish Mortgage Brokers, Karl Deeter.
