Unified patent system to come into force

From tomorrow in Europe, the unified patent system will come into force. It means that innovators can submit a single application in order to protect or defend their inventions. It does away with a hodge podge system where patents had to be filed in many jurisdictions. The minister responsible in this area is Neale Richmond - the Minister of State for Business, Employment & Retail
