Believe it or not, a century and a half ago more Irish whiskey was sold in America than Scotch Whisky. But that all changed in the first three decades of the 20th century. Scotch whiskey was the dominant whiskey in the world but Ireland is catching up and could surpass Scotch Whisky Ex Diageo in the US very very soon. William Lovell from the Irish whiskey Association spoke to Joe this morning on the success of Irish Whiskey.
