EU legislation to weed out money laundering

There’s a new piece of legislation on the way, which will check all foreign direct investment money coming into Ireland from outside the EEA. Sectors such as infrastructure and data protection, as well as some financial services will have to get the blessing of the enterprise minister before they can transfer money into Irish entities.
