TikTok, Meta and YouTube are facing a growing wave of appeals under Europe’s Digital Services Act, with the independent body responsible for whether some posts should be taken down or left up, based now in Ireland. The Appeals Centre Europe has published its latest annual report which found a 9 fold jump in the number of people complaining about moderation decisions.
