Wagyu is literally the Japanese word for Japanese Cow.  But the word is synonymous in English for the highest quality cut of beef you can get.  Sales have taken off in Ireland among the better off shoppers and ABP has signed an exclusive deal to supply wagyu beef to Aldi supermarkets.
