What are the dealbreakers in any new relationship? The number one issue that puts people off a potential partner is scruffiness, secondly - laziness.

Newstalk Breakfast presenters Ivan Yates and Chris Donoghue gave that issue a thorough examination.

According to The Daily Mail, 63% of men would get rid of yer wan if she was scruffy and 71% of women would do the same.

All of the papers have pictures of Paul O'Connell and his family as he was given an honourary doctorate at the University of Limerick yesterday.

The rugby legend's children Lola and Paddy are pictured playing at the proud event.

The lead story is about a housing deal the coalition has reportedly agreed. That deal is to be announced after next Tuesday's Cabinet meeting.

Included in it are measures that will make it impossible for landlords to raise rents more than once in a two year period.

Changes to stimulate apartment and smaller unit development are also detailed, including the dropping of the levy, removing restrictions in relation to dual aspect, car parking requirements, and lifts.

In addition mortgage interest relief will be given to landlords if they rent to someone who is on rent supplement.

As Ivan highlights, however, "you may get less rent increases, but it could still be 20%".

The lead story on The Irish Independent claims that "Judges don't take burglaries seriously", while the Irish Examiner highlights how "Insurance cost hikes loom after ruling on injuries", off the back of an appeal court ruling yesterday on awards for people who have suffered catastrophic injuries.

In The Irish Daily Mail: "What if it was your relative on a trolley Enda?"

The Irish Daily Star leads with a story from Galway about a car that had gone off the road into a bush, and was found with a dead man inside three days later.

The Irish Daily Mirror: "Child snatch beast tried to groom my daughter" - a mother who found out a man (24) who claimed to be younger was in online conversation with her child has released a screen grab of their web chat.

The Herald: "Lucky Vinny. Ryan brother recovering after savage city knife attack".

The Irish Sun has the bizarre headline"Naked snap cult war", telling the story of a man who alleged in court yesterday that a member of the Church of Scientology leaked a naked picture of a teacher to a principal to damage his career chances.

All papers cover the end of the Web Summit, with some coverage too of the apparent withdrawal of founder Paddy Cosgrave from a planned Late Late Show appearance on Friday night.

Noel Whelan has an opinion piece in The Irish Times about the fact that Frances Fitzgerald, the Minister for Justice, wore the same jacket two days in a row this week.

Noel's point is that criticism of Fitzgerald is unfair and unequal as a man would not receive the same treatment, but as an advisor to any female candidate running in the upcoming General Election, he says he would still tell them to spend longer on photographs and their appearance than their male colleagues because it is where people's focus will be.
