US Vice President Joe Biden has announced that he will not run for election as President.
The Democrat now leaves the way clear for Hillary Clinton, who would have been his main opponent.
Biden is still recovering from the death of his son Bo (46) from brain cancer in May. He has previously spoken about the profound effect that event has had on him.
