Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault in the Clondalkin area of Dublin overnight.

The incident happened at 3.20am in the Newlands Road area.

A female cyclist who was reportedly attacked by a group of men near a park.

A section of parkland has been sealed off.

The woman reported being raped by the side of the road, after a gang of men pulled her off her bike into nearby bushes.

No arrests have been made and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
