Time is rapidly running out for a lucky EuroMillions ticketholder to claim a €191,000 prize.

The ticket was bought on April 27th in Tesco in Galway Shopping Centre, and the prize has to be claimed by 5pm this evening.

Denis McCarthy, Store Manager at Tesco in Galway, spoke to Bobby Kerr on Newstalk Breakfast.

"We've no idea who the winner might be at this stage," he said. "I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate them and wish them the best for the future.

"There's been great excitement around the store. A lot of customers coming in and congratulating us for selling the winning ticket - and a lot of customers pretending they've been the winner.

"If it is claimed, than we get a small commission and that goes into the store's social fund, so everyone in the store benefits from it. We're just excited to have sold the winning ticket, and everyone's speculating about who the winner might be," he added.

The winning player managed to match 5 and 1 Lucky Star. The numbers drawn were 4, 5, 25, 28, 43 and Lucky Stars 6 and 11.

The National Lottery Prize Claims Team can be contacted on 01-836-4444.

The National Lottery also says a €381,863 EuroMillions prize remains unclaimed ahead of next Thursday's deadline.

The ticket was sold at the Market Green Shopping Centre in Midleton, Co Cork on May 6th.
