There is good news for Cork this afternoon with the announcement of 50 new jobs in the telesales sector.
Irish company Zevas Communications said recruitment will begin immediately with the aim of having all 50 positions filled by Christmas.
The company provides global call centre services to global multilingual companies including the likes of Google, Twitter, Paypal and UberEATS. They also work with Irish companies across the technology sector.

“Our continued expansion is firmly establishing us on the world stage for outsourced customer contact solutions,” he said.
“As an Irish company, with our Head Quarters in Cork, these 50 new jobs are to be particularly celebrated Lee-Side.
“These new contracts further reaffirm Cork’s position as an international hub for digital innovation and ambition, as well as for superb and proactive customer service offerings.”

The announcement follows the creation of 40 new jobs at the company’s bases in Dublin and Cork last year.
To fill the positions announced today, the company is looking for telesales personnel, “with an enthusiasm for working in the digital media sphere.”
The majority of the positions are English-speaking; however native German and Dutch speakers will also be recruited immediately.
