A man has been arrested over the death of a woman in Co. Wicklow. The body of the woman (50) was found at a house in Bray in at 1:30am this morning.
Her remains have now been removed from the scene.
Gardaí say they arrested the man (21) shortly after 11am this morning and he is being questioned at Bray garda station.
The woman was found at a house in the Deepdales Estate on the Southern Cross Road in Bray and gardaí were quickly notified.
A forensic examination has been underway at the house since this morning and the Deputy State Pathologist Dr. Michael Curtis has attended the scene.
Her body remained in the house overnight and was removed by hearse shortly after 12pm this afternoon.
This local man says the community has been rocked by the news.
