An elderly woman has died in a house fire in North County Dublin.
Gardaí said the fire broke out at a house on the Swords road in Corballis at around 11:20pm last night.
Crews from three Dublin Fire Brigade stations tackled the blaze; however, a woman in her 90s suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was the only person in the house.

Officers are investigating the cause of the fire and the scene has been preserved for a forensic investigation.
A Garda spokesperson said foul play is not suspected at this stage.
