Gardaí investigating the murder of Mikolaj Wilk have arrested a woman.
Mr Wilk died after an attack at his home in Ballincollig, Co Cork on June 10th last year.
His partner, who is in her early 30s, was also at home during the attack and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital.
The couple's two young children and another woman in her early 30s were also in the house. They were not injured.
He was taken by emergency services to Cork University Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Mr Wilk and his partner are both originally from Poland.
Gardaí arrested a woman aged in her 30s on Friday.
She is currently being held at Gurranabraher Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A man aged in his 30s, who was previously detained in Gurranabraher Garda station, has been released without charge.
Gardaí have said a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Another man in his 30s remains in custody ar Togher Garda station.
Investigations are ongoing.
