Soccer's popularity in the United States has soared during this World Cup, and on the eve of their pivotal group game with Germany it has reached fever pitch.
Not only has coach Jürgen Klinsmann implored bosses across the country to give their employees a day off work to watch the match, now Will Ferrell crashed a fan event in Recife, Brazil to drum up further support.
After a man dressed up as President Theodore Roosevelt emerged onto the stage to whip up the crowd, the legendary Ron Burgundy joined him and even crowbarred a Luis Suárez reference into his act declaring: "If the game gets close, I will bite every German player if I have to!"
