Rain over Leinster and much of Ulster this morning will slowly clear today, but it may take until late afternoon before it finally clears the east coast.

Drier weather will develop over Munster and Connacht this morning with some sunshine this afternoon.

Afternoon temperatures will range 7 to 9 degrees. Winds will be between west and south, light to moderate.

Tonight

Tonight will be dry and skies will clear in many areas.

As a result a slight to sharp frost will form together with some fog.

Lowest temperatures between -1 and +3 degrees. Light southeast winds will increase to moderate by dawn with fresh winds along Atlantic coasts.
