Rain will develop across the western half of the country this morning and will extend eastwards during the second half of the day.
A clearance will follow into Connacht, west- Munster and northwest Ulster in the afternoon.

The rain will finally clear the east coast this evening. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in fresh southerly winds.
Tonight
Most of tonight will be dry and clear but it will turn quite chilly with lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees and ground frost will occur in places.
Some fog patches also.
