You thought you may have seen it all when it comes to bizarre wedding ceremonies, from href="http://www.newstalk.ie/2012/news/recommended/need-to-know-jet-pack-wedding/">Jet Packs to href="http://www.newstalk.ie/2012/news/recommended/watercooler-moment-uks-sets-record-for-first-mass-wedding/">mass wedding cermonies. However, one loved up couple decided to take their love to new heights.

Bob Ewing and his new wife Antonie Hodge Ewing got married on top of a 900ft mountain in  in West Virginia in the US, dressed in full wedding attire.

The adventurous couple decided on the setting, after Bob Ewing proposed to Antonie in March as the couple scaled the Seneca Rocks.

‘It’s probably our favourite place we’ve ever been,’ explained the groom. ‘I think Antonie and I have a special relationship. I’m lucky to have found someone who complements me so well.’

Mrs. Ewing added: ‘We didn’t have a lot of space. It’s a small mountain top.’

The ceremony was performed by family member Scott Ewing who got especially ordained  for the ceremony.

John Ewing, another of the groom’s brothers, made a separate climb and photographed the ceremony with a high-powered lens, while the bride’s mother also made the trip.

Photos of the newlyweds on top of the mountain have gone viral, racking up over 500,000 views online.

The newly married couple celebrated with family and friends at a second ceremony and reception a day later.
