In the same week that she has a new movie in cinemas, Tina Fey's upcoming comedy has released it's first trailer.
Sisters hits Irish cinemas this week, going up against none other than Star Wars The Force Awakens in the purest case of counter-programming in some time, Tina Fey is already showing off her upcoming CV with this first trailer for her latest movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
Co-starring Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton and Alfred Molina, Fey will play a journalist sent to Afghanistan and Pakistan as a front-line reporter, solely because she has no family that will miss her if the worst should happen.
Based on the best-selling memoir The Taliban Shuffle by The Chicago Tribune writer Kim Barker, adapted by the writer of Fey-vehicles 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and the directors of Focus and Crazy, Stupid, Love, this could stand out as one of the best, smartest comedies of next year.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will arrive in Irish cinemas on March 4th 2016.
