Be prepared to have the recurring sound of ooga-shocka stuck in your head all day as Marvel Studios has just unveiled the first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the undeniably fun 2014 summer hit.
With the Blue Swede song signalling another round of 70s soft rock, the 90-seconds of footage re-introduces us to everyone from the first film who’s still alive, including a very brief nod to how Groot is doing right at the very end and some solid romantic advice from the truth-bombing Drax.
While the footage offers nothing by way of plot or storyline, it does, at least, suggest that Star Lord (Chris Pine) is pining for Gamora (Zoe Saldana), while the renegade band of mercenaries for hire will be doing their best to save the galaxy again.
