Selfie from Hell is another original short from the brilliant horror YouTube channel F**k You Zombie, telling a creepy story of the perils of taking selfies in 101 seconds.
In an article on HorrorBuzz, it’s revealed that the short is part of an academic thesis on the role of viral videos. Shot over three days, with almost a week of post production to whip it into shape, the short creepily plays off modern society’s obsession with the selfie.
Wasting no time, with very few visual effects, the short showcases how viral shorts are helping to propel horror cinema into the 21st century.
