After six months of speculation following the announcement of Disney teaming up with an airline for a special creation, all has been revealed this weekend.

Taking place in Everett, Washington, the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways showed off their brand new Dreamliner aircraft, complete with it's R2-D2 makeover.

This is just the latest in Star Wars-related tie-ins leading up to the release of the new movie - The Force Awakens - which will hit Irish cinemas on December 17th this year.

No word yet on whether or not the stewards on board will be dressed up in Star Wars-esque garb.
