Chris O'Dowd plays Sunday Times journalist David Walsh up against Ben Foster as the illegally doping Lance Armstrong.

An early teaser for the movie appeared a few months back, but this latest trailer pushes the ever-waging war between Walsh's pursuit of truth and Armstrong's longing to be the best into the foreground.

Directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen, Philomena, The Snapper) and co-starring Dustin Hoffman, Halt and Catch Fire's Lee Pace and Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons, The Program is set to arrive in Irish cinemas on October 16th.
