Alzheimer’s Disease continues to exact a heavy toll on families all over the world, robbing the elderly of their recognition in heartbreaking ways. But what is like to look ahead to that time when still with most of your memory intact? That’s what Cut Video asked six men and women who have been diagnosed with the disease in a moving video named On Memory.
The four women and two men, aged between 51 and 70, reflect – in as much as they can – on the role and shape memory has played in their lives, recalling their earliest one, their first kiss, and their most recent ones. And, while difficult to watch, their answers to the question what don’t they want to ever forget are incredibly moving.
