11 members of the Vietnamese Paraolympic team are in Ireland to acclimatise and prepare for London 2012 and are based at the University of Limerick.

They travelled to the Morton Stadium in Santry Dublin to meet the Irish Paraolympic team before they travel to England.

Vietnam is still recovering from the Vietnam War financially and physically and some of the athletes were effected by Agent Orange a chemical the US Army used in warfare.

Their accommodation and training expenses here are funded by Irish Aid and the Irish Sports Council.
