The organisers of Saturday's protests against the water charge say an "unprecedented" 70 demonstrations will be held across the country.
The Right2Water campaign says it hopes up to 100,000 people will turn out in towns and cities including Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.
Meanwhile, another national demonstration has been announced for Dublin on Wednesday the 10th of December.
