Keith Duffy has been honoured for his charity work in aid of children with autism by the Royal College of Surgeons.
The honour was conferred at a special event to mark the 40th Anniversary of the RCSI Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.
He was plucked from obscurity in the early 90s by Louis Walsh as part of the phenomenon that was Boyzone and since then has become a soap favorite through his roles in Coronation Street and Fair City.
He’s also impressed in various dramatic roles in the likes of Love/Hate, but could he be set to return?
