Hopping on your bike after work today?

The Gardaí have uploaded two videos documenting close shaves between cyclists and Dublin Bus.

The first takes place in Dublin 4, and shows a cyclist colliding with the side of a bus when they attempt to leave the footpath without properly signalling their intention to do so. 

In the second, another cyclist on O'Connell Street gets taken out, and almost takes out somebody else when they attempt to overtake too quickly.

It could have been worse, though: we're told both cyclists survived without any major injuries.
