A man in his 20s has died following a serious assault in Temple Bar in Dublin.

The incident happened at around 8.30 last evening on Cow's Lane - and saw two men injured.

A man has passed away this evening in St James' hospital and a post mortem's to be carried out.

Gardaí are continuing to quiz four men arrested in connection with the incident.

They're asking anyone who may have filmed the attack to get in contact with them.
