Gardaí have seized vehicles, drugs, cash and guns in a major search operation in north Dublin.

Over the past three days, officers raided 14 houses in Ballymun and arrested 14 men.

Cannabis and cocaine worth about €42,000 was seized, along with €14,000 in cash.

Three vehicles, two firearms and a quantity of ammunition was also recovered.

Twelve of the 14 men who were arrested have been charged, while a file will be prepared for the DPP over the other two.
